We are providing a precompiled version of the Java Client to the SimpleDebugger server code. This version is identical to the version you can build by using the build script in the "java" sub-directory, except this version is signed and configured to use the Java Web-Start technology.
A java application loaded by using Java Web-Start, runs in a sandbox, and must be trusted in order to perform network connections. We have signed the jar file using a test certificate, and, consequently, a pop-up will appear asking if you trust the application during the installation. You must select "yes" in the pop-up window. |

We suggest that you test the DHTML client prior to running the Java client. We have designed the Java client such that it is almost identical to the DHTML client, though the Java client can connect to multiple devices.
