Beta Testing Program
Real Time Logic invites you to take part in its beta testing
program of BarracudaDrive version 3.9.
Participating in beta
testing enables you to:
- be among the first to gain access to the latest versions of BarracudaDrive and share your opinions with us.
- help Real Time Logic improve the quality of the product being tested.
- provide suggestions on possible ways of improving the product.
- free technical support.
- collaborate directly with developers and other beta testers using a dedicated forum.
- receive a free perpetual BarracudaDrive license for personal use, which is awarded to the most active/helpful beta testers.
Requirements:
- BarracudaDrive must be installed on a home computer connected to the Internet via a broadband connection.
- The BarracudaDrive server must be accessible on the Internet by using your own domain name or one of the free DDNS domain names.
- The domain name must be sent to us and the server must be available 24/7 on port 80 and 443.
- Dedicate time to test ALL BarracudaDrive plugins, with emphasis on the two new plugins: the forum and the CMS.
- Send us a status report, using good English, on the two new BarracudaDrive plugins: the forum and the CMS. The report must contain information about usability and ease of use.
- You must test all features of the new forum and the CMS, including the RSS feeds and the CMS's built in Google Analytics report.
- You must create at least 3 pages for the CMS and at least 5 entries for the blog.
- You must test all the included CMS themes for all pages and blog entries you create. Your test results must be included in the report.
- Give us information on your router brand and if the automatic port forwarding utility works for your router. Give us information on any router configuration steps needed to get the port forwarding utility to work.
- You must possess good skills in writing problem/information reports.
