Manually update/install a BarracudaDrive license

If you have been directed to this page by a Real Time Logic representative, follow the instructions for updating and/or upgrading your license.

The following instructions assume you are running the browser on the same computer as the computer where you have BarracudaDrive installed. Replace the name "localhost" with the IP address or domain name of your BarracudaDrive server if you are configuring the server from another computer.

1. Go to: http://localhost/rtl/license/install.lsp
2. Click the "Request license" link in the bottom left corner and follow the license wizard.
3. On the "Generate License Data" page, enter your original license information or enter information as instructed by a Real Time Logic representative.
4. Click the "Generate License Data" button.
5. Click the "Send License Request" button, which opens your email program.
6. Be careful not to change the "license Request" data.
7. Send the email to the address that was provided by the Real Time Logic representative or use the default email address provided if no such information was given.
8. A Real Time Logic representative will generate a new license and send you the license data.
9. When you receive the response email, copy the license data from the email. The license data should not contain the line -----------------------------------------, which is immediately followed by the license data.
10. Paste the license data to the text box at the following URL: http://localhost/rtl/license/install.lsp
11. Press the Install button.
