Purchase Information
Purchase Using Credit Card
Purchase BarracudaDrive using a credit card as follows:
- Download the BarracudaDrive installation program from the download page.
- Install BarracudaDrive using the BarracudaDrive installation program.
- Payment is initiated from the product itself. Navigate to the license page using a browser.
The URL to the license page is http://localhost/rtl/license/, where localhost is the name or IP address to the computer running BarracudaDrive. - Enter your customer information and follow the purchase wizard.
- You can also activate a free 45 day trial license.
- The wizard directs you to our online server. Enter your credit card information on our secure online server.
- The server validates your request and credit card.
- The license is directly installed into your BarracudaDrive server via our online server once your credit card is accepted.
- A sales receipt and a license copy is emailed to your email address.

Purchase Order
Purchase orders are limited to business licenses only.
A purchase order should include the following:
- Your company name and address.
- The number of BarracudaDrive users.
- A GetMyLAN license (yes/no).
- Support type (free/commercial). Commercial support is available at 20% of the purchase price per annum.
- Upgrade to new features (yes/no). Upgrade to new features is available at 10% of the purchase price per annum. Program fixes are free for all customers.
- Email address to the person that is responsible for purchasing BarracudaDrive.
We will send you an invoice as soon as we have received your purchase order. Instructions for how to activate a license is sent upon receipt of your official company purchase order. Your company can in the interim time use the free 45 day trial license.

Price List
We provide a flexible licensing model for BarracudaDrive. In addition to the "try before you buy" 45 day free Service Period, you can purchase any of the following licensing models:
- A Perpetual Service Period using the price list below.
- A one year Service Period at 40% of the cost of a Perpetual Service Period.
- A six month Service Period at 25% of the cost of a Perpetual Service Period.
- A three month Service Period at 15% of the cost of a Perpetual Service Period.
Prices are in $US dollars and per BarracudaDrive server installation.
A Perpetual Service Period never expires.

Business License:
A user is a person that can login to the server and use the integrated Web File Manager, WebDAV, or HTTPS tunnel. In other words, a user is a person that is added to the BarracudaDrive User Database. There are no additional charges for using BarracudaDrive as a web server.

Academic License:
An academic unlimited license is a perpetual license for non-profit organizations and institutions such as universities and includes no limitation on the number of users. We recommend the BarracudaDrive Debian release for institutions requiring a higher number of concurrent users.
Purchasing an academic license requires a purchase order. See the purchase order instructions for how to pay for the academic license.

We provide two support options. Free support by using our BarracudaDrive bulletin board or commercial support.
The commercial support, which requires that you send us a purchase order, is available if you purchase a BarracudaDrive business license. Commercial support includes:
- Email support handled by our staff in USA, Australia, and Europe.
- US phone support 9:00am to 2:00pm PST.
