Ultra Portable Application Manager

Ultra Portable Applications are the ultimate tool for road warriors. Run your favorite program from any foreign computer without installing the software.

The Ultra Portable Application Manager manages your Ultra Portable Applications and makes it easy to load applications from anywhere. You can download our free Ultra Portable Applications as soon as you have installed the Ultra Portable Application Manager.

Installation

• Download UPA Manager.
• Follow the standard BarracudaDrive Application Installation procedure.

If you refresh your browser window after installing the Ultra Portable Application Manager, you should see a new "upa" link in BarracudaDrive. If you click this link, the Ultra Portable Application Manager will instruct you to install Ultra Portable Applications since the application container is empty.

As soon as you have installed Ultra Portable Applications in the application container, the Ultra Portable Application Manager provides a list of all installed applications. Clicking a link downloads the application to the computer you are using.

Security

Only administrators are, by default, allowed to use the Ultra Portable Application Manager. You can allow any registered user to use the Ultra Portable Applications by doing the following:

• Create a "upa" role using the User Editor in the BarracudaDrive Administrator Panel.
• Using the User Editor, drag and drop the "upa" role into the user's role list.
