BarracudaDrive - Free Home Server

BarracudaDrive is built by using the Barracuda Embedded Web Server SDK.

The BarracudaDrive Home Server is our free version of the BarracudaDrive Professional Web Server. The BarracudaDrive Home Server is free to use for non-commercial use and is specifically targeted for users with a broadband connection such as DSL.

With the home server, you can securely upload, download, and manage your files on your home computer from anywhere in the world. The home server bypasses firewalls and proxies with the communication protocol HTTPS. The communication is protected by using SSL, preventing eavesdropping on your file transfer.

Installation instructions for Apple - Mac OS X:

The home server is provided as a compressed tar file. You must manually unzip the tar file from the terminal.

tar xvzf BarracudaDrive.OSX.tar.gz

Read the readme file after you have unzipped the tar file. You may also want to read the the home server command line options.

The home server is provided as a compressed tar file. You must manually unzip the tar file from the terminal.
