BarracudaDrive demo and guest account
Some of the links you see to the left are part of the integrated user interface, and some of the links take you to online demos of our auxiliary LSP applications.
You cannot visit all the links as we currently do not provide a 'guest' account.
About this site
This site runs BarracudaDrive on a dedicated Linux server, which is hosted by gate.com. BarracudaDrive is designed to run on anything from a home computer with a personal DSL line to high volume sites. Most small businesses can run servers on a DSL line or a T1 connection. The reason our site needs to be with a web hosting company is that barracudaserver.com is a high volume site. As an example, we had 30,000 downloads of BarracudaDrive in 3 weeks when we announced version 3.3. In addition, many of our pages include large images, and the overall load on this server is far too high to run on a DSL line.
We run two BarracudaDrive servers: one which is hosted by gate.com and another that runs on our company LAN. The BarracudaDrive server powering our site "barracudaserver.com" is used as a web server. The BarracudaDrive server running on our company LAN is used as a secure file server and as an easy VPN replacement.
